Vantage Point of Northwest Arkansas, located near Fayetteville, offers inpatient treatment for children and teens ages 12-17 in a secure, safe, and serene environment. We provide a six-month intensive residential HERO program, and a 10-day program for youth participating in acute crisis stabilization. Our HERO (Hope, Empower, Responsibility, Opportunity) program treats young people who have been unable to successfully manage psychiatric and/or behavioral concerns in outpatient settings.
Typically, children and teens who come to our center are unable to function at home and school due to the symptoms of their disorder. Through a comprehensive approach, we help each child learn to manage the symptoms of their disorder(s) and return to their community a happy, productive child or teen.
What We Treat
Our inpatient programming provides support for youth who are suffering from mental health conditions such as:
- PTSD and stress-related disorders

Each child will be provided with an individualized treatment plan that addresses concerns like aggression, suicidal ideations, and self-harming behaviors.

Medication management services and medical care are also provided on an as-needed basis from our staff of physicians, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and registered nurses.
At Vantage Point, we believe that family and loved ones are absolutely vital to the success of the young people who come to our program for help, as loved ones will be able to continue to support the child or teen after they have left our center. We aim to be a beacon of hope for all who come to our center for treatment of mental health concerns, as well as for our community at large.
