Vantage Point of Northwest Arkansas offers a therapeutic day treatment (TDT) program that provides children and teens K-12 with a combination of mental health services and education in an outpatient setting. Our therapeutic day treatment program services are for children and teens who are struggling with mental, emotional, and behavioral problems that prevent them from being successful in a traditional school setting. The mission of our therapeutic day program is to prevent the need for more restrictive, intensive services such as residential care or acute inpatient hospitalization. The schools are vital partners and are highly involved throughout the entire treatment process. The objective for our therapeutic day program is to transition the student back into a traditional school setting as quickly and effectively as possible. We offer our therapeutic day programs throughout Northwest Arkansas in Fayetteville, Bentonville, and Harrison.
The services our therapeutic day treatment provides include the following:
- Medication management
- Psychiatric review and consultation
- Case management
- Psychological testing
- Recreational activities
- Individual, group, and family therapies
- Appropriate grade-level education services
At Vantage Point, our commitment and dedication to serving children and teens knows no bounds – we’ve effectively helped countless children and teens learn the skills needed to be successful in school and acquire strategies to cope with their challenges.
